JustFaith

Empowering People of Faith to Develop a Passion and Thirst for Justice.

What is my relationship with God?

How do I live the Gospel of Jesus?

What is my role as a Christian in the world today?

What is the responsibility of Catholics toward the poor?

How do we become people who really care for and act on behalf of

the poor and the vulnerable?

If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions then JustFaith may be for you!

We want to better love God and our neighbor but may lack direction.  JustFaith gives us that direction. This program focuses on poverty through the lens of Catholic social teaching and the social mission of the Church.  It helps bridge our faith with action based on the testimony of Scripture and the call of the Gospel.  JustFaith is about relationships --- with God, with those in the group, and with those who live at the margins of society.  It is a transformative spiritual journey within the context of a small faith-based community.  It is a multifaceted 30 week program in a small community of about fifteen persons that supports and challenges each participant.  The program will begin its weekly meetings in September and run through the school year, taking breaks for holidays. Participant activities will include:

  • Reading and discussing books
  • Prayer
  • Hearing guest speakers
  • Going on retreats
  • Watching videos
  • Immersion in programs where the means to walk with Jesus becomes more apparent

Very busy people have found the JustFaith Program desirable and doable.  The cost of $145 can be paid in installments, and some partial scholarships are available.  The registration deadline is

June 15, 2010.  If this program is of interest to you contact:
